Twic East Election Campaign in Juba

My fellow South Sudanese,ladies and gentlemen, With a great deal of pride and hope, I recognize the successful and inspiring manner in which the Twic East election campaign is currently being conducted in Juba.This campaign will remain one of the most important and optimistic events in the democratic life of our country.

The case of the Twic East community has presented an exemplary image of civic duty, cohesiveness, and peaceful political participation. Their determination to have transparent, inclusive, and accountable electoral practices shows the desire of all the people of South Sudan, who long to see a stable and prosperous future.

But this campaign is not just a local happening; it is a national motivator. It demonstrates what can occur when a community refuses to be divided by dialogue, prioritizes vision over violence, and embraces leadership founded on service rather than self-interest.

I am convinced that the government of South Sudan and, indeed, all communities in the country can gain important lessons by considering the Twic East model.Their strategy reaffirms the essence of grassroots leadership, people power, and adherence to democratic principles.

Let us applaud and encourage more such good initiatives as we journey ahead. May the example of Twic East be the guiding light for the rest of the country and a lesson that the future of South Sudan is in the hands of its people-united, informed, and engaged.
