One day, a client will say,

‘I can’t imagine working without you.’

That’s when you’ll know, it was all worth it.

How I Built Trust Without Attractive Credentials

-No degree in marketing.
-No “certified VA” badge.
-No blue check.

But clients still trusted me. Why?

1️⃣ I was consistent.
Same energy. Same values. Showed up, even when no one clapped.

2️⃣ I didn’t pretend to be perfect.
I asked questions. I listened. I delivered.

3️⃣ I cared about their mission.
And they felt it.

💬 Have you ever worked with (or hired) someone because of who they are, not what they had?

📌 Save this if you’re starting without the bells and whistles.

Happy Super Wednesday

How I Stopped Sounding Desperate in My Pitches

I used to send those “Hey, I’m looking for work” messages.
Then wait. And wait. And wait. No replies. Zero inbox.

One day I told myself, “Ludiah, this is not the way.”
So I switched things up:

1️⃣ I stopped begging. I started positioning.
My new pitch said, “Here’s how I help coaches save time on content,” not “I need work.”

2️⃣ I started sending value, not vibes.
One client told me, “I hired you because you understood what I needed. Not because you were cheap.”

3️⃣ I trusted God, not my inbox.
I did my part, then stopped checking emails 20 times a day. Peace started there.

Now? I pitch with confidence.
And I no longer fear rejection because I’ve learned how to speak like a solution.

💬 What’s one thing you’ve changed in your outreach style?

How I Booked My First Podcast Client With 0 Experience

When I tell you I had no portfolio? I mean NOTHING.
Just faith, a few skills, and Canva.

Here’s how it still worked:

1️⃣ I offered to help a coach with her podcast for free.
One episode. One chance to show my work.

2️⃣ I treated it like a real contract.
On time. Professional. Clear communication. Ears wide open.

3️⃣ She loved it. Hired me the next week.
Then referred me to two others.

That free project? It built my entire podcast VA branch.

💬 What’s one thing you’ve done for free that paid off later?

📌 Keep this in your back pocket. Start where you are.

Happy Super Monday!

How I Got a Client on Facebook Without Cold Pitching

I didn’t send a proposal.
I didn’t even ask for work.

Here’s what I did instead:

1️⃣ I answered questions in the comments.
Not spammy. Just helpful. People notice that.

2️⃣ I shared my story in a group.
Not “Hire me.” Just “This is how I started freelancing.” It connected.

3️⃣ I showed up.
Consistently. Kindly. Without pressure.

The DM came: “Do you offer this service?”

💬 Have you ever landed a client without trying?

📌 Save this. Organic visibility still works.

Happy Super Thursday!

How I Turned One Small Client Into a Full-Time Freelance Career

Eish! I almost quit after my first client.
The pay was small. The task was boring.
But I said, “Let me just do my best.”

That tiny gig opened big doors. Here’s why:

1️⃣ I treated it like gold.
I showed up like I was working with Google. Respect, deadlines, and clear updates.

2️⃣ I asked for a testimonial before they forgot.
They loved it. Wrote something sweet. I screenshot that thing like 10 times.

3️⃣ I used that one win everywhere.
On my pitches. On my social media. On my confidence.

I didn’t wait to look “established.”
I looked resourceful, and that got me more clients.
,
💬 Freelancers, what’s one “small” job that changed your journey?

📌 Save this for the days when you’re tempted to ignore the “small” gigs.

Happy Super Wednesday!

I didn’t start out wanting to be a Virtual Assistant.

Actually... I thought I’d be a transcriber. Until life said, “Ludiah, that’s not your path.”

One of my first freelance jobs was transcription. And the first client I got? Had a strong accent. I couldn’t even finish 10 minutes of audio.

Eish! I have suffered. 😂
I remember praying, “Lord, this can’t be it.”

So I paused.
Learned article writing. Got a client from a Facebook group.
And then I heard the title “Virtual Assistant” for the first time. It felt like home.

Fast forward to now:
→ I help coaches, speakers, consultants, and pastors stay consistent online. Behind every episode, post, and calendar… I’m the quiet hand helping them breathe.

Here’s what I do today at SpireVA:
↳ Podcast guest booking & editing
↳ Content scheduling & engagement
↳ Admin & calendar support
↳ Social media growth (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube)

I do the things you don’t want to do, so you can focus on your mission.

What’s one task you’d happily hand off right now?

Happy Super Monday!

09/08/2025

In 2019, during a sermon, the pastor said:

📌 “If it’s urgent, leave everything and go.”

I haven’t forgotten that line.
It hits harder now that I work online.

Because sometimes the most important “task” isn’t on your to-do list.
→ It’s checking in on your mum.
→ Showing up at the hospital.
→ Answering a 3am call from your sibling.

As a Visibility Assistant, I help my clients continue to show up, even when life gets urgent.
→ Their content still goes out.
→ Their podcast still drops.
→ Their audience still hears from them.

Because work can pause, people can’t.

💙 Happy Sabbath.

How I Landed Clients Without a Website or Logo

Yaani, I started with nothing but my skills and Gmail.

-No smart website.
-No cute brand colors.
-Not even a logo.

But still, clients paid me. Here’s how:

1️⃣ I showed proof in conversations.
Before & afters. Screenshots. Links to stuff I’d done.

2️⃣ I pitched like I belonged.
Confidence. Not desperation. That’s what made people say yes.

3️⃣ I focused on helping, not showing off.
My DMs said: “Here’s how I can help.” Not: “Look at my branding.”

Your offer is stronger than your aesthetic.

💬 What’s one thing you think you “need” before starting but don’t?

📌 Save this if perfectionism is slowing you down.

Happy Super Thursday!

How I Raised My Rates Without Losing Clients

I used to undercharge.
→ Because I was scared.
→ Because I thought, “What if they say no?”

But here’s what changed:

1️⃣ I tracked my impact.
Once I saw the results, I knew my worth.

2️⃣ I practiced saying my new rate.
Not “Umm...” Not “If that’s okay...” Just “Here’s my rate.”

3️⃣ I lost a few, but I gained better clients.
The ones who value your work will pay for it.

💬 What’s one rate you’re afraid to charge but know you deserve?

📌 Bookmark this for the next time you hesitate.
