FIFA has Punished Lauren James With Two-Game Ban After Her Red Card Against Nigeria At Women's World Cup.
But a FIFA panel decided today to increase her punishment due to the nature of the incident that had resulted in her being sent off.
James was dismissed in the 87th minute of England's round of 16 game on Monday after she stamped on the backside of Michelle Alozie as the Nigeria player lay on the ground.
She will miss the quarter & semis if they make it past Colombia in the last eight.
