Interior CS Kithure Kindiki maintains that those who will breach the law on Monday's Mass Action will be prosecuted.

He notes that it is a constitutional right for any Kenyan to hold peaceful demonstrations but warns that security agents will not allow demonstrators in certain parts of the country

He also warns protestors that State House, State House Lodges and other protected regions will be off limits.

He says, Monday 20th March 2023 is a normal working day. All weekday activities including learning in schools and other educational institutions shall proceed normally.

He assures the public of their safety and advises everyone to continue with their activities uninterrupted and allow security agencies to discharge their mandate of maintaining law and order

He further adds that the duty to ensure rule of law is followed during the demonstration is solely on the shoulders of the event organizers.
