BREAKING NEWS:
FINALLY THE UNITY OF PURPOSE FOR RESIDENTS ELDAS.
Following successful deliberations by a coterie of professionals and elders from the Jibrail community of Eldas in a two-day meeting at Starling Bird, Mombasa Road, in Machakos have resolved the following to achieve the lasting unity of the community and the people.
It was resolved:
1) To have Hon. Ahmed Boray unconditionally withdraws the pending election petition in court.
2) To have the area MP meet all the legal expenses of the petition in court.
3) To have the area MP accommodate the supporters of Hon. Boray in the running of his administration.
4) Ulumas (Sheikhs) play an active role in reconciling the different warring groups in the bid to promote sustainable peace and reconciliation in the community.
5) The area MP to settle the medical expenses of Mohammed Ahmed Kanyare, who was injured during the election time.
6) That the area MP will not contest for the Eldas Parliamentary election in 2027.
The area MP, Hon. Adan Keynan Wehliye, CBS, Eldas MP agreed to the resolution and the verdict that was read by Haji Omar J. Mohamed who further thanked the community and the people of Eldas for their patience and calmness.
On his part, Hon. Boray has unconditionally agreed with the verdict to withdraw the court petition.
