The YouLead Summit 2024 was held at MS TCDC in Arusha, Tanzania. It began with an intensive three-week training program for fellows from East African states, focusing on leadership, entrepreneurship, diplomacy, climate change, and gender equality. This training prepared participants with the knowledge and skills to engage meaningfully in regional and continental issues.
Following the training, the final three days were dedicated to the Summit itself, which brought together young people from across Africa. The discussions centered on leadership, security, and the role of youth in shaping and influencing political change across the continent. The event was not only intellectually stimulating but also culturally enriching. Attendees were treated to vibrant entertainment showcasing Tanzania’s rich local traditions. The dances were captivating, with graceful moves that drew applause and even participation from the audience.
