Claim: Father FFr Kinyua's online Congregation.(CK) delivers a sermon on theft, calling President WWilliam Samoei Rutoa thief.

Fact check: No, the video on Father Charles Kinyua (CK) was altered.

The alleged video is a combination of two separate videos. The original footage of Father Kinyua is from a sermon he delivered in October 2024 during the closing mass of a 25-day Novena.

Further the clip features President Ruto in June 2024, when he met AIPCA bishops, led by Presiding Archbishop Samson Muthuri, for multi-sectoral talks, including discussions on youth unemployment.

A reverse video search revealed that the original video of Father Kinyua delivering a sermon titled Finances, Wealth, and Prosperity was originally recorded and shared on his YouTube channel on October 10, 2024.

The video was manipulated to suggest that he was targeting The President.
