Where hard work meets the soil and the soil answers back with perfection. Fresh. Crisp. Naturally grown.

Farming is cool—especially when you see how something as simple as a collard green can change a whole community.

In a quiet rural village, collards have become more than just a leafy vegetable. They’ve become a symbol of growth, resilience, and pride.

Every morning, the fields wake up before the people do. Dew settles on the wide green leaves, glittering like tiny jewels as the sun rises. Farmers step into the fields with worn boots and hopeful hearts, knowing that their hard work keeps the community thriving.

The collards grow strong in the rich soil—thicker, greener, and healthier each season. Families gather them fresh from the land, using them in warm meals that bring everyone together. Slowly, the village begins to flourish. Markets get busier, children learn the value of cultivation, and neighbors share stories over steaming pots of collards simmering on the stove.

Farming isn’t just work—it’s a celebration. And in this little rural area, collard greens are the heroes of the story.

_"To get everything you want, dare to dream big and take risks to pursue your vision. Persist even when you feel like giving up, because breakthroughs often come just before success. Start today, don’t wait for the “perfect” time. Focus your thoughts on your goals, follow your dreams, and opportunities will appear where obstacles once stood. In the long run, you’ll regret missed chances more than mistakes made, so embrace courage, explore, and act boldly. It’s better to fully pursue a high goal, even with risks, than to live passively on the sidelines of life."_

Inner peace isn’t something we find in the absence of chaos; rather, it’s the way we choose to respond to it. It’s the quiet strength that arises when we learn to calm our minds, no matter how loud the world around us gets. True tranquility comes from within, where we let go of the things we cannot control and embrace those we can. When we achieve this kind of peace, our thoughts no longer hold us captive but instead guide us forward with clarity and purpose. Inner peace doesn’t mean avoiding conflict—it’s about remaining grounded and composed when life tests us, knowing that we are in control of our reactions* .

Who can remember this picture I posted a few years ago after harvesting these bulb onions from my Kirinyaga farm?

When I was transplanting them, my neighbours were completely against it. They told me bulb onions don’t grow in that area. But because I had done it elsewhere, and I understood the feeding program and spraying schedule they needed, I decided to go for it, one full acre.

That season shocked the whole village. People kept trooping to my farm, including top musicians from Kenya who came to see what was happening. After harvesting, I got my kilos, the prices were perfect, and immediately after cashing in, I left for Somalia. And funny enough, from that moment people in my area suddenly started planting onions.

If I had listened to them, today I would still be believing onions can’t grow there.
But confidence + knowledge + courage = results.

A good friend of mine who owns over 23 supermarkets in Kenya ,those who know supermarkets that start with the word Power… you that ine, once told me:

“Do it with confidence. If you fail, they will still talk.
If you win, they will still talk. So just do it anyway.”

In the streets we say: “kama mbaya, mbaya.”
Because fear has never planted a seed, and doubt has never harvested anything.

Keep going!

Today, I celebrate not just a graduation, but the beginning of a new journey in management and leadership. This achievement marks a foundation built on hard work, dedication, and the desire to grow — not only for myself but for those I’ll lead and work with in the future.

The skills gained in management are not just academic; they are tools for business leadership, strategic decision-making, and creating opportunities that empower others.

As I step into this next level, I’m committed to using these skills to drive growth, inspire teamwork, and make a positive impact in every business environment I’m part of.

To everyone who supported me along the way — thank you! The journey continues, and the best is yet to come. 🌟.
