On Saturday 13th September 2025, Hon. Musyoka's support was felt across the ward in several significant events. Despite his tight schedule, he ensured that every family in need of comfort and encouragement received it. At the burial of the late William Vekya Kyalo in Kisayani Kathungu, his ward assistant Nicholas Kivite and Nzomo Munyoto represented him, sharing heartfelt condolences and financial support from the MCA’s office.

A Heart of Gold: Hon. Cyrus Kisavi Steps in to Support Grieving Poor Family and Promises Them a Decent House

By Nicholas Kivite

In a heartfelt act of compassion and leadership, the Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Ikanga/Kyatune Ward, Hon. Cyrus Kisavi Musyoka, has once again proven why he remains a beloved servant of the people. During the burial ceremony of the late Agnes Kawembe Pius in Tutu village, the dearly departed wife of Mzee Pius Ndema, the MCA offered a helping hand that will not be forgotten.

Recognizing the dire financial situation of the bereaved family, Hon. Kisavi generously provided a hearse to transport the late Agnes to her final resting place, easing what had become an overwhelming funeral burden for the family. His intervention came after he received a detailed report from his ground team, led by Monicah Wilson and Nzomo Munyoto, who had visited the family during the early stages of burial preparations.

But Hon. Kisavi’s compassion did not stop there.

The report revealed that the grieving family lives in an extremely dilapidated shelter , a structure so fragile it could be blown away by the next strong wind. Deeply moved by the family’s plight, the MCA, through his representative Monicah Wilson, made a powerful announcement during the burial ceremony: he will construct a decent house for the family. This pledge was received with heartfelt gratitude from mourners and villagers alike, who saw in the gesture the embodiment of servant leadership.

What sets Hon. Cyrus Kisavi apart is not just his ability to lead; it is his unwavering presence on the ground. Whether in moments of joy or sorrow, he is always close to his people, walking with them, listening to them, and stepping in where others may turn away. His leadership is rooted in love, empathy, and an unshakeable commitment to the well-being of every resident in his ward, especially the most vulnerable.

In a time when many leaders grow distant after elections, Hon. Kisavi continues to stand out as a selfless steward of the people’s hopes and needs. His actions today are just one more chapter in a long story of service, and a shining example of leadership driven not by personal gain but by the pure desire to uplift his community.

As 2027 draws nearer, one thing is clear: the people of Ikanga/Kyatune Ward are not just counting on his return; they are declaring it a necessity. Re-electing Hon. Cyrus Kisavi Musyoka is not just a vote for continuity; it is a vote for compassion, development, and true leadership. fans

By Nicholas Kivite

The office of Ikanga/Kyatune Ward MCA, Hon. Cyrus Kisavi Musyoka, fondly known as Sonko, today inspected the ongoing construction works at the River Ngunga drift. The visit was led by the MCA’s Ward Assistant, Mr. Nicholas Kivite. Following the inspection, it was confirmed that the main structure of the drift has been fully constructed. What remains is the installation of the 30-meter concrete slabs on both sides of the drift, which will mark the final phase of this vital infrastructure project.

This development marks a significant milestone in the continued efforts by MCA Sonko to improve road infrastructure and ensure safe, reliable transport across the ward. The River Ngunga drift project is particularly critical, as it will connect several villages that have long struggled with poor access during rainy seasons.
