Closing Reflections:
On Finding Purpose in Grief 🌅

This journey has been one of raw honesty, quiet strength, and sacred healing.

Grief has taught us that love doesn’t end where life does, it simply changes form.
It softens us, reshapes us, and reminds us that even in the ashes, something new can grow.

We’ve learned that
✅The heart can hold both sorrow and hope.
✅Compassion blooms from pain.
✅ Purpose isn’t about forgetting, it’s about carrying love forward in a new way.

So, as we step beyond this series, may we continue to walk gently with our stories.

May we find peace in remembering and courage in rebuilding.

And may our loved ones always live on ,not just in memory, but in the love we continue to give.

With love❤️ and light 🕯️💡
Nimoh 🤍

💔 A Mother’s Heart Speaks

Yes… this is my story, and I own it. ✨
I am a mother who lost her only child , my precious girl 👧🏾💞 , just when she turned 18.
She had just stepped into adulthood, full of dreams , laughter 😂, and light ☀️.

But like a blossoming rose 🌹 ready to bloom, death plucked her out of my life ,out of this world 🌍 never to be seen or heard again. 😢

The silence she left behind still echoes💔😞 some days softly, some days loud. 💭
Grief never really ends, it just learns to sit quietly in the heart 💔🕊️.
Yet today, I speak not from brokenness, but from love ❣️ the kind that refuses to die, even when everything else does. 💖

To every mother who has walked this painful road 👩🏾‍🦱🤍 I see you👀, I feel you.🫂
We may carry scars, but we also carry strength💪🏾 🌺🙏🏾

🕯️ Forever my daughter. Forever my love.

“Purpose in grief isn’t about ‘moving on.’ It’s about moving forward with love ❤️still alive inside us.”

Grief changes us,it doesn’t end love but it deepens it.
Finding purpose after loss isn’t forgetting, it’s choosing to live in a way that honors the one you miss. Each day, we carry their love into the world through the way we show kindness, courage, and compassion.

🤔Reflection:
What small step can you take today toward purpose?
Maybe it’s sharing your story, helping someone else heal 🫂, or simply allowing yourself to smile again😚

Moving forward doesn’t mean leaving them behind it means carrying their light into your tomorrow. ❤️

Day 6 of 7 days series of Finding Purpose in Grief.
🌹Growth in the Ashes 💔

Theme: Rebuilding in the aftermath.

💭 Message:
“Grief plants seeds we never asked for, but sometimes they grow into unexpected strength.”

After the loss, it can feel like everything is burned down, dreams, routines, even a sense of self. But slowly, in the ashes, new life begins to take root. We learn resilience, patience, and courage we never knew we had.

Grief reshapes us. It humbles us, deepens us, and teaches us how to grow even in the dark.

🤔Reflection:
What new strength have you discovered in your journey?
Maybe it’s learning to stand alone, to speak your truth, or to find beauty again after heartbreak.

From the ashes, something beautiful can still rise. 🕊️

🌹Day 5 of 7 days series of Finding Purpose in Grief:
🫂The Gift of Compassion 🌷

Theme: Grief makes us softer toward others.

💭 Message:
“The pain we endure often becomes the gentleness we offer.”

Grief has a way of softening our edges. The same pain that once broke us can also awaken a tenderness toward others. When we’ve known deep sorrow, we begin to see pain in other people’s eyes and we meet it with empathy, patience, and understanding.

🤔 Reflection:
How has grief changed the way you love others?
Does it make you listen 👂🏾🦻🏾 more deeply, forgive more freely, or love ❤️ 😘 more gently?

Your compassion is the quiet gift born from your pain,a reminder that healing hearts can help heal others. ❤️

🌼 Day 4 of 7 days series of Finding Purpose in Grief:
🌹Carrying Their Legacy 🫂

Theme: Purpose through honoring.

💭 Message:
“Every time we speak their name, share their story, or live with love — we carry them forward.”

Our loved ones never truly leave us. They live on in the way we laugh, the words we speak, the lessons we pass on, and the love we give. Carrying their legacy doesn’t mean being stuck in the past—it means letting their light continue to shine through us.

🤔Reflection:
What part of their life or love do you carry with you?
Is it their kindness, their strength, their faith, or their laughter that still guides you today?

When we honor their legacy, we give meaning to both their life and our grief. 🌹

Day 3 of 7 days series of Finding Purpose in Grief:
The Broken Open Heart 💔

Theme: Brokenness can become an opening.

💭 Message:
“Grief cracks us open, but sometimes that’s where light enters.”

When grief breaks our hearts 💔, it feels like everything is lost. But in those cracks, something tender begins to grow, 🪴 compassion, empathy, and a deeper understanding of what it means to love and to be human. Brokenness doesn’t always signal the end; sometimes it is the doorway to becoming softer, kinder, and more open.

🤔 Reflection:
What has grief taught you about tenderness or empathy? Has it changed the way you see others who are hurting?

Even in the breaking 💔, there can be beauty. 🌹🌼🌲

Day 2 of Finding Purpose In Grief Series:
Sitting with the Silence 🌅

Theme: Allow yourself to feel instead of rushing to “fix” the grief.

💭 Message:
“Silence is not emptiness,it is space for healing.”

Grief has a way of bringing us into stillness. In that quiet, it may feel uncomfortable, even heavy. But silence doesn’t mean nothing is happening. It’s often in those unspoken moments that healing slowly roots itself within us.

🤔 Reflection:
What do you notice when you sit quietly with your grief? Does it reveal memories, stir emotions, or remind you of the love that remains?

Silence can feel lonely, but it can also be a sacred pause,a space where your soul gently gathers strength. 🌸

7 Days of finding Purpose in Grief;
Day 1: Naming the Weight:⚖️

Theme: Acknowledge the pain instead of hiding it.

🎤Message:
“Grief is heavy, but naming it is the first step toward purpose.”

Sometimes we carry pain so silently that it begins to suffocate us. But grief becomes lighter when we give it language. Naming the weight doesn’t mean weakness,it means honesty. It means telling your heart, “I see you, I hear you, I will not ignore you.”

✨ Reflection:
What does your grief feel like today? Is it a storm, a shadow, a knot in your chest, or a quiet ache? Write it down, whisper it, or share it with someone safe.

Because when we name our pain, we begin to take back our power.💪🏾

⛪A Biblical View on The Other Woman.

The Bible is not silent about the struggles of women, love, and broken relationships.
♦️ Examples in Scripture:

1️⃣Hagar (Genesis 16): She was drawn into Abraham and Sarah’s story as “the other woman,” but her pain and rejection were seen by God. He met her in the wilderness and called her by name, showing us that even when people dismiss us, God values us.

2️⃣The Woman at the Well (John 4): She had a complicated history with men, and yet Jesus didn’t shame her. Instead, He offered her living water,a new identity, healing, and dignity.

3️⃣The Woman Caught in Adultery (John 8): While others wanted to condemn, Jesus responded with compassion and restoration, reminding us that love redeems where judgment destroys.

🌹 How this relates today:

Many women who become “the other woman” are not simply seeking destruction, they are seeking worth, love, and belonging.

Just like in the Bible, Jesus meets us in the mess, not after we’ve cleaned it up.

God’s heart is always to call us higher:
♦️from borrowed love to true love, ❤️ from shame to restoration,
❤️from secrecy to freedom.

🌹The Healing Truth:
👉 In today’s life, “the other woman” is a mirror 🪞of unhealed wounds, but also a reminder that God sees beyond our labels.
👉 Healing begins when we realize that our true value is not found in being chosen by man in shadows but being chosen by God in the light.

💬 Reflection Question:
When you think of Hagar, the woman at the well, or the woman caught in adultery!what does their story teach you about God’s heart for women who feel unseen?
Let's discuss 🫂

🌹 The Other Woman ; Conclusion Post:
At the heart of this series lies one truth:
👉 Being chosen is not the same as being valued.

Too often, we confuse the thrill of being picked ,even in secrecy with the deeper gift of being truly seen, honored, and loved in the light.
But one is temporary. The other is transformational.

💔 Being chosen can still leave you feeling disposable.
💖 Being valued makes you undeniable.

The difference is everything.
It is the line between cycles of shame and the beginning of self-love.
It is the shift from living on crumbs to claiming the feast you were made for.

1️⃣ This series was never about judgment ,it was about sight.
When we understand the wounds, we can break the cycles.
When we choose ourselves, we begin to heal.

💬🤔 Reflection Question:
Have you ever confused being chosen with being valued?
What helped you tell the difference in your own journey?

🌹 The Other Woman.
Part 5:
The Path to Healing

Healing begins the moment she realizes:
👉 Borrowed love will never build a whole heart.
👉 Being chosen in secret is not the same as being valued in truth.

The journey is not easy, but it is possible:

1️⃣Step 1: From borrowed love to self-love❤️ Instead of asking,
“Why won’t he choose me?”, she begins asking, “Why am I not choosing myself?”

2️⃣Step 2: Breaking trauma cycles
Behavioral theory teaches us what is unhealed repeats itself. Heal first.

Healing means naming the childhood wounds, the fears of abandonment, and the lies about worth then breaking them so they no longer dictate adult choices.

3️⃣ Step 3: Redefining love
True love does not hide.
True love does not keep you waiting in the dark.🌑🌚
True love does not make you feel disposable.
It honors you in the light.🌕🌞🌝

✨ Healing is not about shame. It’s about reclaiming.
It’s about choosing to no longer live on crumbs when you were made for a feast.
