A tragic incident unfolded at Igegania Hospital in Gatundu North, Kiambu County, on Tuesday evening following the death of a child under unclear circumstances. Witnesses allege that medical negligence may have played a role in the heartbreaking loss.

A video widely shared on social media captures a heart-wrenching scene: a visibly devastated man, believed to be the child's father, is seen carrying the lifeless body through the hospital corridors while accusing staff of failing to act promptly to save his child.

Overwhelmed by grief and anger, the man is heard shouting at hospital personnel and confronting a security guard who tried to intervene and calm the situation. The confrontation briefly turned physical, causing the guard to retreat, as stunned patients looked on in silence.

According to sources close to the matter, the child had been at the facility for several hours before passing away, with many believing the complications that led to the death could have been prevented.

UPDATE on the Thika Superhighway Crash Involving a Brookside Tanker

We can now confirm that the motorbike rider involved in the widely circulated crash between a Brookside Milk tanker and a smaller van along Thika Superhighway has been positively identified as Ian Githinji.

Ian had been reported missing for two days, sparking worry among family and friends. It was only after the video of the accident surfaced that his loved ones recognized his distinctive jacket in the footage—just moments before the tragic impact.

Ian, a well-known errand service rider around the Kamakis bypass, miraculously survived the crash and was rushed to Kenyatta University Hospital, where he is currently admitted. He sustained multiple fractures, particularly on his limbs, and is undergoing thorough scans to assess potential injuries to his pelvic region. Thankfully, doctors report that he is in stable condition and receiving the necessary medical attention.

We continue to pray for Ian’s full recovery and send strength to his family during this time.

Former nominated Senator Gloria Orwoba has expressed remorse for her involvement in the impeachment proceedings against former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

"I regret my role in impeaching Rigathi Gachagua. Even during the process, I was among those who pointed out that the 11 charges brought against him couldn’t be substantiated," she said.

During an interview on Thursday, May 22, Orwoba admitted that the process was flawed and lacked credible evidence. She reconsidered her stance, stating that none of the allegations leveled against Gachagua at the time held up under scrutiny.

BREAKING: MP Peter Salasya Claims He Was Attacked by Armed Men Posing as DCI Officers

Mumias East Member of Parliament, Peter Salasya, has alleged that he was ambushed and attacked by unidentified individuals claiming to be officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

In a statement released posted on his official page, the legislator said the assailants, who were heavily armed, intercepted his convoy, disarmed his security team, and confiscated their fi****ms. According to Salasya, the attackers opened fire on his vehicle, seemingly targeting him directly.

"One of my security officers managed to escape and led me to safety through a nearby bush," the MP said. "They later emerged with about 15 AK47 rifles and delivered a chilling message which, for now, I cannot publicly disclose due to security concerns."

Salasya emphasized that he has not been antagonizing the government in his public addresses and has remained committed to promoting peace and development.

He further claimed he was being taken to an undisclosed location, urging both the authorities and the public to pay close attention to his situation.

Authorities have yet to issue a statement on the incident.
