Today, 8KTV had the privilege of attending the Base Bila Noma training at The Coffee Ministry in Laini Saba, Kibra, after receiving an invitation from Gomez.
The session, organized by NCCK Kenya and facilitated by Teacher Jos Kay focused on Ethical Storytelling for Peace and Civic Participation. It brought together content creators to learn how the stories, videos, and messages we share can shape people's opinions and influence our communities.
We learned what content truly means, how audiences consume and react to what we post, and the importance of creating stories with purpose using the 4Ws – Who, What, Where, and Why. The training reminded us that content creation is not only about gaining views or followers but also about promoting truth, responsibility, peace, and positive change.
As 8KTV, we are committed to using our platform to tell stories that educate, inspire, and unite our community. We are grateful to NCCK Kenya, Teacher Josh, Gomez, and everyone who made this valuable learning experience possible.
Together, let's continue creating content that builds peace, encourages understanding, and strengthens our communities.
