Kibra Toi Market Woman Speaks Out on Ongoing Leadership Wrangles

A resident of Kibra and trader at Toi Market has come forward with concerns over ongoing confusion and leadership struggles at the market.

“I’m the woman who spoke out last year, saying the elections held at Toi Market were not fair,” she said. “Since then, there’s been chaos. Sometimes we’re allowed to operate inside the market, then suddenly we’re thrown out.”

She claims that the person responsible for the back-and-forth is a woman known as Florence and Mama Boy. “She says she knows Kanja and uses that to control things here,” the trader added.

Traders at Toi Market are now calling for fairness and proper leadership, saying they are tired of being caught in power struggles that affect their businesses.
