Tomorrow, 19th September 2026, we come together for World Clean Up Day at Southern Bypass, Lang’ata, near Tumaini Hope Center, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM.

This year’s theme is FOOD WASTE  reminding us that reducing food waste is also part of protecting our environment and keeping our communities clean.

We are calling on everyone  young people, community members, groups, businesses and friends  to join us. Bring your energy, your gloves if you have them, and most importantly, the willingness to make a difference. 💪🏾🌍

A clean community starts with us. No action is too small.

Nairobi Water has announced a scheduled water supply interruption across several parts of Nairobi.

The interruption will begin today, Friday, September 11, 2026, at 6:00 a.m. and is expected to continue until Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.
According to Nairobi Water, the shutdown will allow emergency repair works along the Sasumua–Kabete pipeline.

Areas expected to be affected include Westlands, Lavington, Kileleshwa, parts of Nairobi CBD, Upper Hill, Kilimani, Hurlingham, Dagoretti, Kawangware, Waiyaki, Uthiru, Mutuini, Gatina, Jamhuri, Kibera, Lang’ata, Karen, Ngara, Gigiri, Eastleigh, Buruburu, Mathare, Huruma, Outer Ring Road, Industrial Area and parts of the Airport corridor.

24-Hour Security at Toi Market Ahead of Crackdown on Illegal Immigrants.

Security has been increased at Toi Market, with 24-hour security operations expected as the government prepares to begin a crackdown tomorrow on illegal immigrants involved in small businesses across Kenya.

According to Chief Omocha, the increased security is aimed at maintaining order and ensuring the safety of traders and customers during the operation.
