Last week, we hosted a First Aid Training session with youths and community leaders in Kibera, led by the incredible team from Red Cross Kenya.
As we enter the festive season, this training equips our community with essential lifesaving skills — ensuring we can respond to emergencies and keep our neighborhoods safe during this busy period.

We are grateful to for making this possible and for working with us in the community to ensure the training happened.

Today, Kenya mourns one of her greatest sons — Raila Amollo Odinga, a man whose courage, conviction, and vision redefined our democracy.

From the fight for multiparty freedom to his lifelong call for justice and equality, Raila stood firm even in the face of persecution and imprisonment. He bore the weight of the nation’s hope with unmatched resilience and love for his people.

Baba, you gave voice to the voiceless, fought for fairness, and believed in a Kenya where every citizen, no matter their tribe or status, could dream freely.

You may have rested, but your legacy will never die.
Your spirit will continue to inspire generations to rise, to speak truth, and to love this nation as fiercely as you did.

Creative Spotlight
Today we shine the light on Kevinne Mullick, the founder of Kgill+ Media Hub.

Guided by his conviction that “Africa’s creative future will not be imported — it will be made here, in our communities”, Kevinne has championed grassroots storytelling through Sinema Mtaani, a platform that discovers, develops, and distributes authentic stories from underrepresented creatives.

Through this program, he has nurtured young talent, released impactful short films, and taken community narratives from the mtaa to the world stage — proving that our stories have the power to shift perceptions and reshape the African narrative. 🌍🎬
