Six armed suspects posing as worshippers reportedly broke into retired GSU Commander Ranson Lolmodooni’s Kitengela home on Sunday, forced open the residence with cutting tools, and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.
During the getaway, they threw banknotes at guards and bystanders, beat a security guard with punches, kicks, and clubs at the main gate, and abandoned one vehicle in Isinya town, where police later found extra cash, registration plates, and a pistol.
Lolmodooni has, however, denied any money was taken, saying his family keeps no cash at home.
