Feel the most for Estevao. Subbed off twice after stupid decisions from his teammates. Such a top talent and losing valuable minutes. Looked bright again today. Him on the counter even with 10 men would have worked well in my opinion. So frustrating for him but so glad he’s our player as he looks special. #

My predicted lineup for Brighton:

- Palmer, Tosin and Fofana are all out to add to our injury problems. Lavia and Badiashile could be in the squad but will be assessed. Sanchez has served his suspension and is available. Buonanotte Is cup tied against his parent club.

- Must win after last week. Brighton will not be easy and will have to be at our best. A start of a big week, Benfica and Liverpool to come at the Bridge as well. Hopefully we start it off with a win tomorrow. Could be watching some future Chelsea players as we face our personal megastore.

5 trophies in 6 years since Reece James made his Chelsea debut. He has been through everything. The transfer ban, winning the Champions League, the ownership change, coming 12th, injuries, getting us back into the UCL, winning his first trophy as captain and now is a World Champion.

He is the definition of loyalty, which is rare in modern football and it is great he’s injury free now. Hopefully it stays like that. Our best academy player since John Terry and he has some of the same characteristics as him. Only member of the UCL winning team remaining and is a born winner. Still only 25 and I’m sure he has a lot more to achieve at What a player.

Hopefully Romeo is fit enough to make the match day squad this Saturday against Brighton! We’ve not seen Lavia since he picked up an injury in the club World Cup against benfica.

But by god do we miss him… from his incredible defensive work rate to his insane passing ability going forward, We are lacking a DPL.

If chelsea can keep Lavia fit… then we could have another Dembele situation on our hands.

Still 21 yet… a long way to go in an already very promising career.

🗣️ Jamie Carragher on the Chelsea Project. “I want to go back to Chelsea. I said the manager didn’t cover himself in glory with the changes he made in the first half, it was a bit messy but they were down to 10 men and you lose the game.

I think Chelsea supporters now think that I have it in for them, but I think the manager has done a brilliant job since he’s been there. He came in, year 1 and got them UCL football and he’s won the competitions that he was in. He did brilliant to beat PSG and take them to the cleaners in the CWC.

My critisim of Chelsea is the actual 3 and half years they’ve actually been there as a club and how you can still have that team and we are saying no chance for the league. Chelsea fans know that, if you go back to Chelsea teams winning the league, who did they have as goalies? Cech and Courtois. That tells you everything you need to know as a Chelsea fan.

My big problem with Chelsea is nothing to do with Maresca as such, but how 3 and a half years in with the money that has been spent, you turn up the Old Trafford with the goalkeeper and center backs you’ve got, it can’t win you the league. There’s no league in 100 years where the standard of those players in those positions for Chelsea win you the league. It just can’t happen.
