BREAKING: Nova Scotia and PEI are getting a new area code in May 2028.
If you're planning on getting a new phone number from 2028 onwards, your area code will no longer be "902" or "782".Instead, the new area code will be "851".
-This will only affect new phone numbers.
Any phone numbers from before 2028 will not be affected after this change happens, unless you get a new phone number after this change happens.
Anyone that keeps their current pre-2028 numbers after 2028 will still have an area code of 902 or 782.
