KENYAN FOOTBALL DESERVES BETTER THAN JUST COMPETING
Habari zenu wadau. This is 90 Elevation and I have a dream. It’s time for an irrevocable change in how we think about and conduct The Beautiful Game in Kenya.
My vision is clear and uncompromising: The only acceptable benchmark for Kenyan football is the European Standard. With the slogan ,"Beyond the pitch" we aim to revamp our game by going beyond just the 90 minutes
What Defines the European Standard?
It’s a powerful ecosystem built on two essential layers: quality on the field and the business structure that sustains it. For 90 Elevation, this standard is achieved through three non-negotiable pillars:
📊 PROFESSIONALISM: This means more than just players arriving on time. It includes organized governance structures, mandatory financial transparency, professional management, and fully accredited facilities across our leagues.
💰 PROFITS & SUSTAINABILITY: Our clubs must become financially viable businesses. They must generate large profits through robust marketing, merchandise sales, and lucrative broadcasting rights. It is here that most of the legwork will be concentrated on by 90 Elevation. Our clubs must be assets, not liabilities.
🎉 FAN CULTURE (EXPERIENCE): We must engage fans as partners, not just as spectators. This covers providing a safe, exciting, and world-class game-day experience, mandatory online ticketing, and digital content that targets our global Kenyan diaspora.
Our goal is to establish a system that is commercially and competitively world-class. The current management of FKF Premier League is very well qualified to convert this dream to a reality.
After years of stagnation, we finally have a golden opportunity. Under the stewardship of Hussein Mohamed and MacDonald Mariga, we believe our game can finally rise to meet this vision, precisely what 90 Elevation is all about. The fanfare in the months post management changes in FKF is an indicator we are on the right track.

My question to you, the passionate fan base who makes this game what it is:
What is the one European Standard you would personally be eager to see introduced in Kenyan football immediately?
Should we address Professionalized Financial Transparency first?
Or enforce the mandatory use of Centralized E-Ticketing for guaranteed revenue generation and safety?
Or perhaps demand a Minimum Standard of Pitch and Stadium Quality?
