A successful launch marks the beginning of a transformative journey!
Today, we officially introduced our SRHR and Leadership Development Program to stakeholders, teachers, and learners at Enkiwancha Comprehensive School. The program will run throughout the school term and culminate in a grand celebration of achievements at the end of the term.
Our target is to directly impact over 350 learners, including approximately 200 girls and more than 150 boys, through mentorship, leadership training, and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) education.
The reality we face is heartbreaking. The area continues to experience high cases of Female Ge***al Mutilation (FGM), teenage pregnancies, and child marriages, contributing to an alarmingly low transition rate of girls to higher learning institutions. This is not just a statistic—it represents countless dreams interrupted and potential left unrealized.
This program is a call to action. We need parents, educators, leaders, mentors, partners, and well-wishers to join hands with us. We need courageous voices that will stand against harmful practices, champion the rights of girls, and inspire young people to believe in their future.
Every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, lead, and achieve her dreams. Every boy deserves the guidance to become a responsible and transformative leader in society.
Together, we can break barriers, restore hope, and build a generation that is empowered, educated, and ready to transform their communities.
The journey has begun, and your support can make all the difference.
