For the first time since independence, actually for the first time in history, Wajir County and the Northeastern region is undergoing transformation. First, it's the first time hosting a national event.
Ahead of Madaraka Day's celebrations on Monday, the residents of Wajir County are feeling the sweetness of what some of us have been experiencing for over 60 years.
Tell me, how will you convince this Wajir resident that President Ruto akiwa na mtu wake wa mkono Prof. Kindiki is bad and is a OneTam when they are seeing such developments for the first time in their lifetime yet we've had 4 Presidents before him?
Look at the stadium which has been built in less than 5months, look at the new roads, the housing project, the newly completed hospital that the President will open on Monday.
A lot is happening and for Wajir residents, this is what they never even dreamt of in their lifetime, but President William Ruto is making it a reality.
