Some of the poorer Arab nations have been drawn into a war whose consequences they are ill-equipped to bear, largely influenced by the actions of Israel and the United States. By allowing their territories to be used for military operations, they have placed themselves in a precarious position. Now, Iran arguably has less to lose than the Arab kingdoms, who may bear the brunt of retaliation. It is a difficult and dangerous situation for the Arab world.
