🌧️ It’s a cold, rainy Nairobi day… and instead of cuddling, I decided to disassemble my car jump starter 😅 — yes, that 3-in-1 gadget we all throw in the boot and forget about!

The tyre pump mechanism was dead… so I got curious 👀.

🛠️ I tore the whole thing down like the Electrical & Electronics Engineering alumni I am 🤣. Found a torn piston seal, bought a new one, oiled the gears & piston, dusted off the PCB like a pro — and guess what?

✅ IT’S ALIVE! The pump now works better than it did when I bought it (as every DIY guy says).

Moral of the story?
💡 🔥 Bikers, usitupe vitu haraka… sometimes solutions ni za 250 bob tu!… and a bored biker in shivers with coffee on standby 😂

👉🏾 Let’s normalize roadside DIYs and saving a few coins 💪🏾

At the Outering–Kangundo roundabout, I encountered a boda rider exiting from the wrong lane and ignoring all road courtesy — including my hoots! 😤
What’s worse? A pedestrian confirmed this is the norm at that junction.

🌧️🏍️ Love in the Garage | Easter Edition ❤️🐣

Staying indoors for Easter? Not my usual vibe. But sometimes… the universe says,
“Bro, pause the throttle… it’s cuddle time.” 😌

No camping.
No crazy solo ride to nowhere.
No chasing sunsets or dodging potholes in the wild.
Just me and Her Majesty — The Versys 👑🏍️

She got:
🧽 A warm sponge bath
🛢️ Her joints oiled and pampered
🧴 Chain massaged with love
🫧 Fairings wiped like the queen she is
💤 And some cozy, no-engine-running type of TLC

Turns out, the real ride this Easter… was love. 😍

She’s been carrying my weight (literally & emotionally) — it was time I returned the favour.
We didn’t hit the highway…
But we hit peak vibes 😎❤️

🏍️ Muddy Savannah! The backyard of Konza Technopolis (Silicon Savannah) is a total mayhem 🇰🇪

I took ‘s challenge of what a KLR can do, a Versys can do. The heart of Kawasaki is unmatched… even as I loaded the bike to the spirit of .mariwa ’s GS!

I live to tell of a 200m stretch that took me an hour to cross, battling through slippery & sticky black cotton soil. And when the mud stuck in the mudguard, riding without one was the only alternative.
