Within any major political formation, space is negotiated. There are lanes. There are hierarchies. The problem with youthful and inexperienced leadership is that they ignore these things and take them for granted. Now look at the Linda Mwananchi/Sisi ndio Sifuna movement. Its not even a month old, yet the fault line have already began to show.
If one figure’s rise begins to compress the political oxygen of others, especially those with historical legitimacy or structural control, counterbalancing mechanisms activate. Nairobi is not only about winning voters. It is about managing internal equilibrium. The candidate who understands coalition psychology will survive. The one who misreads internal anxieties will struggle.
