Grief becomes even heavier when you’re trying to do it “properly.” 💭

For this one, we sat down with Rose Gichure (), grief coach and host of the , for a conversation that completely challenged the idea that there’s a “correct” way to grieve. she helps us unpack the pressure to “move on,” the different ways grief can show up in people’s lives, and why so many people silently feel like they’re grieving wrong.

And despite the topic, this episode is not overwhelmingly sad or heavy, and it’s certainly not a trauma dump. It’s warm, honest, reflective, and deeply human.

One of the strangest things about saying yes to new things is realising your old life only felt comfortable because it was familiar. 🥴

‘Cause once you’re in yes mode…

….your comfort zone starts feeling smaller, excuses begin sounding dumber, fears slowly fade away, and the version of you that once felt “normal” slowly starts feeling too safe and too repetitive.

Personal growth, right? 😮‍💨🤭

Keep saying YES ✊

Nobody really teaches us how to talk about grief until life forces the conversation.

This week, we sat down with Rose Gichure (), grief coach and host of the , for a conversation about loss, identity, relationships, and the strange way grief can completely change what feels important.

And despite the topic, this episode is not built to be overwhelmingly heavy. It’s honest, warm, reflective, and full of the kinds of conversations more people probably need to have.

Whether you’ve experienced grief yourself or simply want to understand people and life more deeply, we think this episode will stay with you.

Season 9, Episode 87: “What Grief Makes You See Differently” is now streaming everywhere you get your podcasts 🔗

Some lessons about what truly matters do not arrive through self-improvement or intention. Sometimes, they arrive through loss. 💔

In this deeply reflective episode, we sat down with Rose Gichure (), a grief coach and the host of the , a space dedicated to helping people navigate grief with greater honesty, openness, and compassion.

Together, we explore the disorienting experience of life no longer fitting the way it once did, and how grief can reshape identity, relationships, perspective, and what truly matters.

Rose guides the conversation through the pressure to “move on” (which she explains is the wrong phrase entirely), the way loss changes our relationship with time and productivity, and the role of love, support, community and presence when everything else begins to fall away.

Despite the weight of the topic, this episode is spacious, honest, and warm because, somewhere inside conversations about loss are also conversations about love and being truly alive.

This is Season 9 and episode 87. So wherever in life it finds you, we hope it will allow you to say “yes” to looking at life a little differently, down to the very basics of how you experience it each minute with the people you love.

Yes, we left with goodies and the kind of smiles people have after being surrounded by snacks for hours.

What we didn’t expect was just how much speed, coordination, pressure, and human effort sits behind something as simple as “add to cart.”

Somewhere between avoiding the freezer room, getting distracted by the bakery section, and watching orders move across those progress screens, we gained a whole new appreciation for the people keeping everything moving.

Tiny tribute to the organised chaos behind healthy convenience.

Some experiences leave you looking at ordinary things a little differently afterwards.

We walked into the fulfilment centre expecting to learn about logistics, delivery systems, and how everything moves so quickly behind the scenes.

But somewhere between the packing stations, quality checks, conversations, and organised chaos, it stopped feeling like a story about convenience and it started feeling like a story about people.

We realised pretty quickly that convenience doesn’t magically appear at your doorstep. It’s built through systems, yes, but also through human attention, coordination, and care repeated over and over again every single day.

This carousel is really just a small tribute to everyone who took us behind the scenes and reminded us what thoughtful and healthy convenience actually looks like in real life.

And a huge thank you to for trusting us enough to experience and document that world honestly.

Episode 86 genuinely changed how we think about the journey behind an everyday order. Find it everywhere you get your edutainment podcasts (or click the link in our bio to find it) 🎧🎙️

We usually click “order” like it’s nothing. But what actually happens after that?

This episode, we turned that into a bold Yes - and partnered with , who really are the perfect people to test this with. Especially they’ve just launched GreenspoonGo: their promise to get your order to you in 45 minutes or less.

So we went behind the scenes.

Spoke to the people running the system and watched what it really takes to make “convenience” work.

And then we tested it. Live. While recording.

One order. One timer. No special treatment.

So the real question is:

Did it actually arrive within 45 minutes?

🎧 You’ll have to listen to find out. 😉

If video is a ‘must’, what happens to audio-first podcasts? 🧐😮‍💨

of Episode 82: we asked two people with a front-row seat to how podcasts are being commissioned and packaged.

One says it’s essential. The other says it’s obvious.

So what does that mean for the rest of us? Listen to the full conversation before you commit to saying yes to podcasting. 🎯

Learning a new skill doesn’t always need discipline. Sometimes it needs a bit of… weirdness, and the freedom to be bad at it for a while. Maybe do it backwards, or act like you’re teaching it tomorrow.

That small dose of awkwardness forces you to slow down and notice things much better.

So do something a little unconventional this month and see what happens. Pick one ‘weird’ method and give it a proper go. 💪

Keep saying “YES”.
