Strengthening access to health care in remote communities remains critical for improving public health outcomes in Kenyaโs Northern region.
In line with this goal, Dr. Mayian Lekirimpoto led a women-focused medical outreach at Westgate Conservancy, Nkutuk Engiron, Samburu County, demonstrating a strong commitment to preventive and community-based health care.
The medical camp provided gynaecological, paediatric, and general medical reviews, alongside HPV vaccination for the prevention of cervical cancer.
The outreach also featured bonfire health talks with women on gender-based violence (GBV) and cervical cancer awareness, creating space for education, dialogue, and empowerment.
