Somalia was labeled a "terrorist safe haven" due to weak governance and refusal to repatriate deported nationals. Chad was added due to its high visa overstay rate and perceived failure to comply with U.S. immigration laws. Eritrea and Sudan faced criticism for inadequate identity verification systems and high visa overstays.

Today May 25, 2015 the government security forces have been killed inhumane and cruel act on the Muslims who were praying at Anwar Mosque. A lot of Muslims have been shot and severely injured.

The injustice of the security forces has committed a cruel act by denying the believers whose blood is spilling like water to get medical help. As far as we can understand from the eyewitnesses in the area, the believers who were in the mosque during the Jumma prayer have been barred from leaving the mosque till night.

The act that has been taken on the believers who have raised their voices to stop the demolition of mosques in Sheger city for the past few months that is against the law and moral of the country. This act shows the dictatorial behavior of the Prosperity Party that governs the country and exposed the disrespect the organization has for the people. It was done today in Addis Ababa. Information coming from different cities indicates that drastic measures have been taken in other cities.

At this time when our country is being shaken by security problems in all four levels, the government should make an effort for peace and stability has committed a massacre on civilians in the middle of Addis Ababa in broad daylight. Today's brutal massacre in Anwar Mosque took three people's lives and injured many more. This is the second one since his assault.

Freedom and Equality Party wishes condolences to the families of the believers who were killed in Juma'an prayer and for the whole Ethiopian Muslim community, and healing for those who were shot and wounded.
