Jas is a master of subtlety, keeping her cards close to her chest and maintaining a poker face.

This tells you a few things: she’d either be an unrivaled gambler ♠ or a top-notch sleuth 🕵‍♀️.

We don’t see her as a detective though. Yeah, she has the mind for it, but the heart? Probably not.

She'd however be unbearable to face at poker 🎲 or a chessboard …you know…the ultimate games of strategies, smokescreens, and saying little. It's giving 'slick', eh?

We initially struggled a bit with her full name when she was new on the block. But she quickly set us straight, suggesting we simply call her ‘Jas’, and we did ‘jas’ (couldn’t help it) that!

When our Supremo asked what we would like in the new office, no one said, "Hey, let's have some working pods!" Or standing desks or even a multimedia studio.

Then someone dropped: "Can we have a pool table?" and now almost everyone at GDC became a pool shark 🎱 .

Sure, we had work to do, but we also had fun to have.

The vision was to come up with a creative and practical space. Because who wants to stare at a plain wall when you're tackling a mind-bending task?

So, everyone chipped in their two cents, and voila! We got gaming stations, a space bustling with color, art, and even plants 🌵 - both standing and hanging - because we’re fly like that.

The only thing missing is an office pet. Maybe a paw friend who can chill by the chess table. We're still interviewing potential candidates to see if they're a good fit…the only issue is that they don’t talk much.

We’ve worked with Jewellery brands before, so we know a lot about having ‘gems’ 💎 in our team…all without digging a quarry!

Crystal might have been a diamond in the rough when she joined GDC, but pressure makes diamonds, and she’s on her way there.

She’s putting in the work in our events and administration teams, paying her dues, and doing due diligence.

For us, it’s not just about learning the ropes. It’s also about mastering the knots, studying specific threads, knowing the textures, and reaching the top a polished product …mineral or not!

What do you do with a ton of bare space and large swathes of grass?

Roll on it? Landscape it? Or even perhaps get some golf equipment and make a teeing ground?

The client only had one thing in mind: Create an exceptional U.S. pavilion for the AmCham Business Summit 2024!

So, we rolled our sleeves and got to work 👨‍💻; Our design team locked in; sketching out the blueprint, and turning ideas into detailed plans. Every corner, every beam, every placement meticulously planned.

Our logistics team figured out the exhibitor itinerary while our event management team racked their brains over exhibitor positioning and more. ️

Creating this space took a whole lot of magic, ambition, creativity, and guts (muscle too).

The result? A showstopper drawing crowds from all corners of the summit!

Dang! We even managed to fit an immersive VR experience station and a half-ish basketball court because we’re all about taking our shots and making them! 🏀

What do you do when an innovator needs to bring A WHOLE TRUCK to an expo?

Our new dives into some of our most daring feats, and crafting the UK Pavilion at Kenya Innovation Week 2022 was a true test of our wits!

True to our nature, we rose to the occasion! It took scratching our heads sore, endless trips to the coffee machine, a bit of nail-biting, pacing around, and incredible teamwork to create what we believe was the most ingenious booth at KIW2022.

We went all out, incorporating interactive displays, product demos, and immersive experiences

…does it get more immersive than having live worms to bring an agritech innovation to life?!

The result? Thousands of meaningful foot traffic to the UK booth, tons of media buzz, and new professional networks for the exhibitors.

It might have ‘driven’ us crazy, but we proved that innovation knows no boundaries, even if it INVOLVES A TRUCK!

Our antidote to that? Making our meeting spaces fun. Kicking boredom out of the boardroom!

We don’t have your average boardroom. Ours is chic, hip, and even avant-garde!

Our boardroom walls are a canvas of creativity, adorned with art, antiques, live plants, and quirky touches; A lit-up bicycle wheel here reminds us to keep moving forward; An ancient wooden clock there is a smash hit among visitors; A Maasai warrior there helps us channel tenacity; And some fun captions that provide sudden doses of inspiration. 🖼

The GDC boardroom is one of our favorite spaces.

You’ll often find us here with clients; running weekly team catch-ups; and brainstorming sessions - There's just something about the cityscape outside the window that makes the creative juices flow much better. 🏙
