YOTE TISA.

Elected leaders in all successive administrative positions be it Governor,,MP, Women Rep Senator and MCA'shave a responsibility to ensure stability and sustained progress by continuing the projects initiated by their predecessors rather than abandoning them to start entirely new initiatives that may remain unfinished for years. When incoming administrations prioritize continuity, they protect public funds, maintain investor confidence, and deliver tangible results to citizens who depend on completed infrastructure, social programs, and economic reforms. Too often, political transitions lead to stalled bridges, delayed hospitals, or abandoned development plans simply because they were associated with a previous administration. True leadership is not about personal legacy but about long-term national development. By focusing on completing and improving existing projects, elected officials demonstrate maturity, accountability, and a genuine commitment to public service over political rivalry.

Interior CS Onesimus Kipchumba Murkomen has ruffled feathers and pointed fingers at politicians opposing the government’s directive to stop the use of tear gas, accusing them of exploiting security operations to gain political sympathy. Supporting his stance, Raymond Omollo warned what he termed as “crook politicians” against politicizing security matters for personal gain. The leaders emphasized that maintaining law and order should not be turned into a tool for political theatrics, urging all stakeholders to prioritize public safety over divisive rhetoric politics during their rallies of attacking and abusing the arms of the Government that is also offering them security.

Governor Muthomi Njuki has alleged that four unnamed senators are behind an extortion scheme targeting county governments, claims that have heightened tensions between the Senate and the Council of Governors (CoG). Speaking amid growing friction, Njuki said the alleged conduct has undermined oversight processes and eroded trust between the two levels of government. In response, the CoG has vowed not to appear before the Senate Public Accounts Committee, arguing that the forum has been compromised and is being used to intimidate governors rather than ensure accountability. The standoff now threatens to stall critical oversight and audit processes unless dialogue is restored.

A powerful conversation to have for Narok North residents 👍

From a neutral, people-centered view, urgent attention often depends on the issue rather than one single ward. Across Narok North, residents commonly raise concerns such as poor feeder roads in remote wards, unequal bursary access affecting vulnerable students, understaffed or under-equipped health facilities, and pockets still lacking electricity. Areas that are far from the main road networks or trading centers tend to feel these challenges more sharply, especially where access to schools, hospitals, and markets is difficult.
That said, the most credible voice is the community itself. Each ward has its own pressing needs, and identifying them openly through public participation and barazas is key to ensuring fair and balanced development.

In your view, which ward or specific area do residents feel has been left behind the most, and why?
