EPHESIANS 5:15–17
“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.”
Time is one of the greatest gifts God has entrusted to humanity, yet it is also one of the most easily wasted. Money can be regained, opportunities can return, but time once lost is gone forever. Scripture reminds us that life is but a v***r, appearing for a little while and then vanishes. Because of this, God does not merely call us to use time, but to redeem it. Redemption implies recovery, intentionality, and wisdom. The apostle Paul warns believers to walk carefully, not casually. He contrasts wisdom with foolishness and places the responsibility of redeeming time squarely on our spiritual posture. The issue is not how much time we have, but how wisely we steward it. Many people are busy, yet unproductive in God’s purposes.
Dear God 🙏🏼🙏🏼Today, I humble myself before You and ask for mercy where I have wasted time, misused seasons, or delayed obedience.
Let my days count for eternity in Jesus’ name amen.
