The NAIROBI STANDARD CHARTERED MARATHON is calling on more people to sign up and be part of a race that is making a difference beyond the finish line. Standard Chartered Bank Head of Corporate Affairs Joyce Kibe says the marathon has attracted 56 sponsors this year, a 17 per cent increase from 2025, raising about Sh273 million to support women, youth and persons with disabilities.
By signing up, participants will not only take on the challenge of the marathon but also contribute to initiatives aimed at transforming lives across the country.

Prof Kindiki said several roads that residents had pursued for years were now under construction or at various stages of implementation, including the Kionyo-Kanyakine-Muti O’Kiama-Ketha Kanaro-Mitunguu road.
