Mediation Fails as Kendra Gatimu Seeks KSh 300,000 and Public Apology
Mediation in the case involving Kendra Gatimu and three accused persons Kaara Wa Miti Njungx Joxee and Nugaris over an alleged assault at Turaco Camp has failed after Kendra, through her lawyer, demanded KSh 300,000 in compensation and a public apology from the accused.
Speaking in court, Wakili Shadrack Wambui said the amount demanded was beyond the accused persons’ ability to pay, remarking that even “in the next life after resurrection,” it would be impossible for them to afford KSh 300,000.
The case will next be mentioned on 26 October 2026.

Watu walipokuwa wanarudi nyumbani baada ya Daudi kumuua yule Mfilisti, wanawake wakaja kutoka pande zote za miji ya Israeli Mfalme Sauli kwa kuimba kumlaki na kucheza, kwa nyimbo za furaha na kwa matari na zeze. Walipokuwa wanacheza, wakaimba: “Sauli amewaua elfu zake, naye Daudi makumi elfu yake.” Sauli akakasirika sana; sehemu hii ya kurudia rudia ya wimbo huu ilimkasirisha sana. Akafikiri kuwa, “Wamempa Daudi makumi elfu, lakini mimi wamenipa elfu tu. Apate nini zaidi isipokuwa ufalme?” Kuanzia wakati ule na kuendelea Sauli akawa na jicho la wivu juu ya Daudi.
Wivu ni roho mbaya na haiwezi ikaleta baraka yoyote. Mungu ndiye hubariki watu na kwa njia tofauti. Kuna watu leo hii hawalali kwa sababu ya wivu, inawauma kuona wengine wakibarikiwa, wachana na hii roho ya wivu, itakuumiza bure. Mungu atusaidie
