Oloolua Ward MCA Aspirant Sue MJ Spreads Early Christmas Cheer to Over 80 Families

Sue MJ, an aspirant for Oloolua Ward MCA seat in 2027, together with her partners, today shared early Christmas gifts with more than 80 families in Oloolua Ward, Kajiado North Constituency.

The initiative aimed at supporting vulnerable households and spreading festive cheer within the community ahead of the Christmas season.

Speaking during the exercise, Sue MJ said the gesture was driven by gratitude and the desire to walk closely with the people.

"Nilionelea niwaletee Christmas ya mapema, na nashukuru muko salama na Mungu amewajali sana. Tutazidi kutembea pamoja," she said.

Ngong Ward MCA Delivers Wheelchair to Support Ailing Resident

Mbiriri Mwaura, MCA for Ngong Ward, Kajiado County, has delivered a wheelchair to one of the ward’s ailing residents, bringing much-needed relief to the family.

Speaking after the donation, the MCA said the family had been struggling to move the patient to and from home for medical care. He noted that the wheelchair will greatly ease mobility and improve access to treatment.

"I believe this will be a relief to the family who had been struggling with moving her for medical care," said Mwaura, adding that supporting vulnerable members of the community remains a key priority.

Kajiado County Enforcement Officer Arrested in Embul-bul Over Alleged Bribery
The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has arrested Kajiado County Enforcement Officer Noah Kitisia Katei in Embul-bul for allegedly demanding and receiving a Kes10,000 bribe to allow the repair of a sewage line.
According to EACC, the officer was apprehended during a sting operation after he reportedly stopped the ongoing repair works and demanded payment before allowing the team to proceed.
Kitisia was taken to the Integrity Centre for processing and later released on a Kes20,000 police bond as investigations continue.
EACC has reiterated its commitment to cracking down on corruption in public service and protecting citizens from exploitation.
