ARTIST INTRO
Meet Siirski and CheffK, two rising producers and DJs shaping the next wave of Kenyan electronic music.
Both artists bring distinct journeys into the studio and the booth. Siirski is known for his meticulous approach to curation and production, building sets and records that keep dancefloors moving while capturing the spirit of Nairobi’s growing electronic scene.
CheffK, a classically trained pianist, drummer and singer from the age of four, blends musical theory with modern African electronic rhythms, crafting productions inspired by hip-hop basslines, southern African percussion and Kenyan melodic sensibilities.
Together, they represent a fresh energy emerging from Nairobi’s underground — bold, experimental and deeply rooted in rhythm.
Their upcoming project “Nairobi Chant EP” explores the darker edges of 3-Step, Afro-Tech and Gqom and this is only the beginning.
