The Armenian brothers, Artur Margaryan and Artur Sargsyan, were two individuals who gained notoriety in Kenya in the early 2000s. They arrived in the country in 2005, posing as investors, but were later accused of being involved in various illicit activities, including drug trafficking and raiding the Standard Media Group offices in 2006.

The brothers were known for their flashy lifestyle, luxury cars, and parties, and were reportedly given VIP treatment, including security passes and police titles. They even dared the then-Police Commissioner, Major Hussein Ali, to arrest them. It was reported that they had been given senior ranks of police equivalent to deputy police commissioner.

Their activities sparked widespread outrage, and they were eventually deported to Dubai in June 2006. The incident led to investigations and allegations of corruption and involvement of high-ranking government officials.

It's worth noting that the brothers claimed to be respectable businessmen, but their actions and behavior suggested otherwise. The incident remains a notable scandal in Kenya's history, highlighting concerns about corruption and abuse of power.
