My administration remains committed to providing accessible, efficient, and affordable healthcare services to the people of Machakos County.
We have invested in modern technology and state-of-the-art equipment at the Machakos County Referral Hospital, strengthening our capacity to provide specialised care and improve patient outcomes.
Key improvements include a modernised laboratory, installation of a modern CT scanner to strengthen our diagnostic capacity, five new theatres to enhance surgical services, and an upgraded dialysis centre with modern equipment and increased capacity for dialysis sessions.
We have also enhanced the Dental Unit with modern equipment to improve access to quality dental services, while we have installed modern laundry machines to enhance hygiene and efficiency within the hospital.
The long queues previously witnessed at the pharmacy are now a thing of the past, following the separation of outpatient and inpatient pharmacy services, making it easier and faster for patients to access their medication.
