“I am because we are”
Just spent a few days in the slum of Mathare in Nairobi. In harsh living conditions, between the iron sheets huts and narrow alleyways, we were greeted and Karibu-ed (‘Welcome’ in Swahili) like family. We were looked after as the most cherished guests, and we had the honour to witnessed a sense of community in which, through actions and personal engagement within the community, you can define yourself, uphold your dignity, and contribute to make a difference.
“I am because we are”, they say in Ubuntu culture.
Thank you to the Mathare community for the enriching experience, especially to the Why Not Junior Academy staff, its smiley children and to Live in Slums NGO ❤️

Getting young people’s voice heard is a mission always close to our 🧡.
For the launch of EU Darya project, we worked with ETF - European Training Foundation to turn a handful of bright students from Central Asia into Vloggers for one day and get them to tell us what and how education in their countries should change. Their message was loud & clear. It’s time to ACT! 🙌💪

Have you ever wondered how the first-ever picture of a Black Hole was produced? 🔭🌌

Here at Cafker Productionsker Productions we were taken through the formidable journey of how teams of astrophysicists around the globe worked night & day with our client, the European Research Council, to show to the whole world how the Black Hole really looks like. 😏 🪐

A super exciting adventure with a challenging topic due to its complex, technical and scientific nature.

✅ worked closely with the ERC team to break down complex ideas into bite-size content that any audience could engage with
✅ developed an impactful narrative & story line
✅ collaborated on the script with the interviewees to avoid jargon or complexities
✅ filmed on-site and interviewed the real people behind the project to capture and convey their excitement

Did you know that, in modern society, the average person will change jobs 12 times? What a rollercoaster!

Proudly promoting the importance of , with our friends from the ETF - European Training Foundation, an agency of the European Commission 🇪🇺, we produced this animation film to explain why need up-to-date experience of the professions they're teaching to equip with the skills & attitude they'll need to succeed in the future.

We worked closely with the ETF's Comms team to develop concept, script, storyboard, characters design and animation style to hit a balance that feels grown up 💼 but not boring ✨.

With the spell of lockdowns, films have been a fantastic way to keep spreading knowledge💡

Are you ready to lead from where you sit?! 🪑

To showcase their flagship UN Emerging Leaders training programme, our friends from the United Nations System Staff College - UNSSC 🇺🇳 – the UN organisation providing inter-agency learning & knowledge services within the UN system – asked us to develop a corporate promotional video.

We developed the symbol of the chair as a metaphor to touch upon all the values of the UN on .🪑
🎥 Our crew went on site to film the real UNSSC people that 'make a difference' and inspire the next generation of UN leaders.💥

🌟 OUR FAVOURITES 🌟

👉 Last June, here at Cafker Productions we were thrown a big challenge. Our old friends the ETF - European Training Foundation, an agency of the European Commission 🇪🇺, asked us to help them contribute to the conversation around the & Transition. A massive topic we had to approach with care and imagination.

❓So, what happened?

🎬 We used hand-drawn digital animations onto stock-footage 🎥 to communicate our client’s positive vision of the future 🌈 and achieve a unique way to narrate the story 💥.

💡From concept design & scriptwriting, to VFX and sound design, our creative team of wizards 🧙‍♀️🧙‍♂️ produced with hard work and passion this imaginative piece that we are very proud of 💥
