Carl Lewis was born on July 18th, 1997 in Kisii County, Kenya. He has enjoyed drawing right from childhood. After completing secondary school in 2016, Carl moved to Nairobi the following year to kickstart his career at the University of Nairobi.

Though he had begun drawing at an early age, he has since gained recognition in recent years due to his unique genre of crafting. Carl describes his art as beauty, anything he sees and loves, he draws. He has participated in several competitions.

Among the many people he has drawn are the likes of Retired Chief Justice David Maraga and His Excellency the President of the Republic of Kenya, Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta. Carl has for 3years now, drawn several artistic designs which he retails, sometimes according to customer preferences.

He describes his passion as not only a God-given talent but a calling as well.
