3AM!

That's when my daughter woke me up in the morning and she complained that she couldn't sleep. Knowing her all too well...I asked her why she couldn't sleep 😴 and she said some light through their bedroom window 🪟.

I was quite surprised cos to the best of my knowledge they have black out curtains in their bedroom. I was sure that there was no way light from the outside couldn't pass through the curtains.

Perhaps a surprise to some, lighting plays a crucial role in how our bodies and minds function. Poor quality lighting will disrupt our sleep, whereas a soft, relaxing glow can help provide a restful night. The trick is knowing what kind of light to use in your bedroom and where to use it for better-quality sleep.

Upon waking up at 4am, I checked to confirm that there was no light through the windows but confirmed that indeed a little light was visible from the parking lot. This could have been as a result of some very bright security lights that were installed yesterday in the compound.
