😨😲 For three days straight, my boar refused to stop digging in the same corner of the pen. It was as if he knew something was buried there. I laughed it off at first—until I discovered the chilling reason why…
Every morning I’d find him scraping at the same spot, dirt flying behind him in determined bursts. I tried covering the hole, smoothing the ground, even distracting him with food. But each time, he returned, snorting and clawing at the earth like he was being called to it.
The yard was calm that morning, golden sunlight spilling across the grass. By then, the hole was nearly knee-deep. Watching him, unease crept over me. Why this spot? Why every day?
