We're reading Kifo Kisimani for book club hosted by and we forget what a good read this is!!! For those of you who went to a Kenyan highschool in the 2000s, I know you remember this book!

On this Mother’s Day, we at Zeda are celebrating all the ways motherhood shows up in its complexities, triumphs, sacrifices, and joys.

To the biological moms, to the stepmoms, to the adoptive moms, to the grandmas, to the single moms, to the bereaved moms, to the expectant moms, to the moms that had to take a different path, to the chosen moms, to those who want to be moms but can’t or aren’t yet, to those who’ve chosen not to have children but mother.
