De-Capture Media Institute is pleased to invite you to our 5th Graduation ceremony which will be held tomorrow, Thursday 8th December 2022 at the NAIROBI FILM CENTRE, formerly known as Nairobi Cinema, from 9.00am - 2.00pm.

De-Capture Media Institute (DCMI) is Kenya’s first (1st) Examination Centre for media studies, accredited by National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) to offer Courses under Cinema / TV / Film Production, Photography and Digital Media.

DCMI’s class of 2022, 103 graduates, with their friends and families, will be humbled to be graced by your presence during the event

The theme of the event with be; SOARING GLOBAL MARKETS THROUGH AFRICAN CONTENT

As you leave here today, you will be on your own and what you do with the skills that you have acquired at Decapture is very key for the foundation of your future careers. You must be creative and innovative to survive in this business space. Fortunately, the rise of Digital Media provides open platform for everyone willing to become a content producer. If well and responsibly utilized, social media platforms will enable you to earn an income while pursuing your passions as well as becoming employers thus, contributing positively to the GDP.

Remember, the power of the creative industry as an important vehicle for social, cultural and economic development cannot be ignored anymore as it has become a critical part of our day-to-day life and socialization. The ball is, therefore, in your court and what you do with it will determine your levels of success. Ladies and Gentlemen, success and failure present themselves, more often than not, in the same measures - but the choice is yours! Choose wisely!
