November has been quite an inspiring month for the students.

Throughout this month — and still ongoing in some remaining Counties — we held our Annual Mentorship Summits across the country, all centered on our theme: Building Character, Confidence, and Excellence for a Brighter Future.

Our scholars engaged deeply in important conversations on Drugs and substance abuse, academic excellence, Relationships and decision-making, Responsible technology use, Climate change and environmental stewardship.

It has been a wonderful and transformative experience. We are proud of the enthusiasm, curiosity, and leadership shown by our scholars during this whole exercise.

As we wrap up this series of summits, we hope the lessons learned will continue to guide and inspire our Elimu Scholars for an even more brighter future.

The Board, Management, and Staff of the Jomo Kenyatta Foundation (JKF) join the nation and the world in mourning the passing on of Rt. Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga — a true son of the soil, a visionary leader, and a steadfast champion of democracy, justice, and unity.

Rt. Hon. Odinga’s legacy is etched in the hearts of millions and in the annals of our nation’s history. His unwavering commitment to the ideals of freedom, democracy, justice, equity, and national development will continue to inspire generations to come.

We extend our deepest condolences to the Odinga family, friends, and all Kenyans during this time of profound loss. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

What an incredible month September has been!✨
We hit the road visiting our students in their respective schools in every county.
It was inspiring and encouraging to see how well the scholars are doing—focused, determined, and preparing to close the year strong.
JKF is happy to see them thriving and studying hard. We are proud of their progress and grateful they're staying in school where they belong.

Kwa masikitiko makubwa, The Jomo Kenyatta Foundation ingependa kuungana na familia, marafiki, na jamii ya wanataaluma wa Kiswahili kuomboleza kifo cha Profesa John Habwe.
Profesa Habwe alikuwa nguzo kuu katika kukuza na kuendeleza Fasihi na Lugha ya Kiswahili nchini na katika Jumuiya ya Afrika Mashariki.
Alishirikiana nasi katika kuchapisha vitabu vingi vilivyotunukiwa tuzo mbalimbali, ambavyo vimewasaidia maelfu ya wanafunzi na walimu kote nchini.

At the heart of the program are the incredible MoE Gender Champion Teachers, the unsung heroes who walk alongside our students every day, offering guidance, mentorship, and unwavering support while they are in school.

These dedicated teachers ensure that every scholar feels safe, heard, and empowered to thrive academically and personally.

These wonderful moments were captured during GC Teacher’s Conferences organized countrywide by JKF, where our champions came together to share, learn, and grow in their roles as guardians of our students’ wellbeing.
