A fire flattened up to 30 structures, including houses, in Nairobi's Kibera slum on Saturday, 23rd September in between 10:30AM to 11:00AM.

Police said the fire, whose cause was unknown, spread from a stall to a residential area.

There was no response from Fire fighters from both the Nairobi City County and Kenya Red Cross Society.

KIBRA HELD IT'S FIRST INTER SCHOOLS SOCCER TOURNAMENT
The office of Kibra member of Parliament in partnership with the National Government CDF organized a three day soccer tournament.
The tournament which brought together more than 32 primary and secondary from both private and public schools within Kibra was held at Moi Girls High School today.
The objective of the tournament was to promote you talent cultivation and management as a viable employment creation avenue.

Three people killed in Mathare Claches

Three people have been killed in Mathare's Mlango Kubwa area following claches between rival groups.
A local resident said that trouble started when a man who had stabbed his friend was arrested by police but was later released.
Members of the public then traced him and subjected him to mob injustice, killing him on spot.
A group supporting the deceased attacked another man and beheaded him.
Bodies are still hata the scene.
Starehe OCPD Alice Kimeli has said they are aware of the report but are yet to arrive on the scene.
