RIP
Actor, martial artist and producer Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, has sadly passed away at the age of 75. Known for his villainous roles, he starred in popular and hit films including The Last Emperor (1987), the James Bond film Licence to Kill (1989), Showdown in Little Tokyo (1991), Pearl Harbor (2001) and Planet of the Apes (2001) - just to name a few.

He starred as Trade Minister Nobusuke Tagomi on the Amazon Prime series The Man in the High Castle from 2015–2018. He is also known for his highly popular role as the evil sorcerer Shang Tsung in various works of the Mortal Kombat franchise: he first played the character in the 1995 film , and reprised it in 2013 for the television series Mortal Kombat: Legacy and in 2019 for the video game Mortal Kombat 1. Disney Channel millennials will remember him as Grandpa Johnny "Tsunami" Kapahala in the DCOM 'Johnny Tsunami' & 'Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board'.

The former top lawyer of the Israeli military has been arrested for her role in the leak of surveillance video that showed Israeli soldiers gang-raping a Palestinian prisoner at the Sde Teiman prison last year.

The military lawyer, Major General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, was arrested after being reported missing on Sunday. She resigned last week.

Five of the Israeli reservists seen in the video were criminally prosecuted. The footage showed the soldiers taking aside a detainee, forming a wall with their bodies and equipment in an apparent effort to block cameras, and abusing the man including by forcing a sharp object into his re**um.

The Palestinian victim has not been publicly identified. According to the charges against the soldiers, the man had severe injuries, including cracked ribs, a punctured lung and a re**al tear. At the time, some far-right politicians hailed the soldiers as “heroes."
