Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 is bringing some serious upgrades to next-generation flagship Android phones.

It features 5.0GHz CPU cores, a 2nm chip design, a 35% faster AI processor, and support for cameras up to 320MP.

For video, the chip can handle up to 8K at 30fps.

Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi, vivo and other brands are expected to use it in their upcoming flagship phones.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 takes a smaller, more compact approach to the foldable experience — and after getting some hands-on time with it, I have thoughts.
