HON. KIVASU SET TO ISSUE KSHS. 82.1 MILLION FOR 71 DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS ACROSS MBOONI CONSTITUENCY

Hon. Kivasu Nzioka, Member of National Assembly, Mbooni Constituency will tomorrow Wednesday be honoured to issue Mbooni NG-CDF development project cheques worth Kshs 82,135,010.87 for the implementation of 71 projects across our constituency.
This marks the final project allocation under the FY 2025/26 budget following the last disbursement from the National Treasury for the same Financial Year. These investments reaffirm our commitment to transforming lives through equitable and people-centered development in every ward of Mbooni.

The funded projects are focused on improving education, sanitation, security, and social infrastructure. They include the construction of 22 Junior Secondary School classrooms, 1 dining hall, 1 dormitory, 6 school renovation projects, 37 pit latrines with PWD chambers, 1 ablution block, 1 Assistant Chief's office, 1 school kitchen, and 1 fencing of a Chief's office complete with two gates. These projects will provide a better learning environment for our children, enhance public health standards, and strengthen local administration services.

*In keeping with our principle of fairness and balanced development, the projects have been distributed equitably across all wards. Tulimani Ward received Kshs 12,705,563.35 for 10 projects; Mbooni Ward Kshs 9,500,000 for 10 projects; Kithungo/Kitundu Ward Kshs 20,800,000 for 11 projects; Kisau/Kiteta Ward Kshs 12,469,447.52 for 13 projects; Kako/Waia Ward Kshs 14,000,000 for 14 projects; and Kalawa Ward Kshs 12,600,000 for 13 projects. This distribution ensures that every corner of our constituency continues to benefit from the development agenda.*

I sincerely thank the people of Mbooni and the institutional heads for their continued support, patience, and partnership in development. As your Member of Parliament, I remain committed to prudent utilization of public resources, transparency, and delivering projects that have been identified during public participation exercise and that directly improve the quality of life of our people. ELEVATING NATIONAL SCHOOLS IN MBOONI: HON. KIVASU COMPLETES KSHS 22.7 MILLION MODERN CLASSROOM COMPLEX AT KITONDO BOYS

"I am delighted to report the successful completion of the new three-storey classroom block at Kitondo Boys Secondary School in Mbooni Constituency. The modern facility comprises three floors, each accommodating three classrooms, bringing the total number of new classrooms to nine. This landmark project was necessitated by the elevation of Kitondo Boys Secondary School to National School status, a recognition that has significantly increased enrollment and demand for quality learning infrastructure.

*The project was fully financed through the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF) at a total cost of KShs 22.7 million from inception to completion.* The investment demonstrates our unwavering commitment to strengthening educational infrastructure and ensuring that our schools are adequately equipped to meet the standards expected of national institutions.

The new classrooms will provide learners with a spacious, safe, and conducive environment that supports academic excellence and holistic development.
As the Member of Parliament for Mbooni Constituency, I remain committed to elevating both Kitondo Boys Secondary School and Kisau Girls Secondary School in Mbooni East Constituency to fully align with their national status.

My vision is to provide our boys and girls with modern facilities that guarantee safety, security, comfort, and an enabling environment for learning. Through strategic investments in infrastructure, we aim to improve both academic outcomes and co-curricular performance, thereby positioning our schools among the leading institutions in the County and Nationally.
This commitment is already bearing fruit.

I recently commissioned a new girls' dormitory at Kisau Girls Secondary School to enhance accommodation and student welfare. Looking ahead to the Financial Year 2026/2027, I have pledged to construct a modern computer laboratory and an additional dormitory at the school to cater for its growing student population. These projects underscore our determination to invest in education as a catalyst for social and economic transformation and to ensure that every learner in Mbooni Constituency has access to quality education and world-class facilities.

The Mbooni MNA Hon. Kivasu Nzioka has delivered on his education pledge with the completion of a modern storey classroom block at Kitondo Secondary School in Kiteta/Kisau Ward.
Kisau/Kiteta continues to benefit from a significant share of development projects spearheaded by Hon. Kivasu.

The project directly responds to the sharp increase in student enrolment at Kitondo Secondary School. The new facility adds critical classroom space, easing congestion and giving learners a safe, conducive environment to excel.

Constructed through the Mbooni NG-CDF kitty, the storey block features modern finishes, spacious classrooms, proper ventilation, and natural lighting. It is fully ready for use and designed to serve the school’s growing population for years to come.

Kitondo Secondary joins a growing list of so many schools transformed under Hon. Kivasu’s tenure. His leadership has prioritized school infrastructure, bursaries, and learning resources to raise education standards across Mbooni.
