MENTAL HEALTH IN JOURNALISM SUMMIT Oct 8-10th
Improving mental health in journalism is an urgent matter!
All around the world, journalists are experiencing burnout,
anxiety, as well as PTSD or vicarious trauma.
During the Summit, 170 speakers will deliver 70 sessions
covering mental health topics of utmost importance such as:
● Journalists working in hostile environments
● Challenges and strategies of female journalism around the world
● Duty of care: the role of leaders in the newsrooms
● Being a journalist from underrepresented groups
We’ll also be inspired by top speakers such as Delaney, Katopodis or Shah, as well as case studies from countries like the Philippines or Bangladesh, or media companies such as Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, BBC and USA Today.
This first global event is organized by The Self-Investigation and co-funded by Fred Foundation.The Summit is free and online.
