GENOCIDE COMMEMORATION DAY: NAMIBIA-KENYA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE STANDS IN SOLIDARITY WITH NAMIBIANS

Today, we join the people of Namibia in solemn remembrance as the nation marks Genocide Commemoration Day. We honour the lives lost and the enduring strength of the Herero and Nama communities, who bore the brunt of one of the earliest genocides of the 20th century (1904–1908).

The Chamber stands in unity with Namibians in recognizing this painful history and in affirming our shared commitment to justice, human rights, and historical accountability.

As we remember, we also look forward—with hope and purpose—towards a future defined by healing, dignity, and progress for all.

We stand together. We remember. Never again🇳🇦🇰🇪
