"Ask yourself, how is Africa the richest continent, yet some of the poorest people live in the continent?" asks Ciku Kimeria, an author.
On 20th of this month, she will give a Ted Talk titled: Reclaiming Identity, One Story at a Time: What Happens When We Learn the History They Never Taught Us
In that talk, she unveils Africa’s hidden histories—challenging colonial narratives, sharing personal stories, and inspiring pride in the continent’s true legacy, showing how reclaiming our past fuels the power of the future, shaping generations unapologetic and confident in their identity.
