Public relations, as we see it at The Agency, is all about increasing your value in your business, in your charity work, in your legacy or as an individual, PR is not, and should not be, considered a luxury item because it adds value. It is, in fact, an investment that produces revenue and value when executed properly.
Among the reasons individuals seek PR firm:
-Image You’ve made some money and achieved success but, still, lots of people don’t know who you are or what you do. Even people in your own family!
-Legacy You’ve worked hard for many years doing a lot of good things. None of us gets younger and you are starting to think about how you want to be remembered even when you are no longer on Earth.
-Foundations/Philanthropy You’ve seeded foundations and they do great work but if these foundations had some attention themselves, perhaps others would contribute or they can help even more people.
-Start ups You’re an entrepreneurial high net worth individual who’s always looking for the next HUGE company or NBT (Next Big Thing). But, of course, for it to succeed, you need publicity!
-Entrepreneurship You’ve got business ventures and great ideas. But what’s lacking is the attention that they are getting. You need earned media, third-party-endorsement-attention that money can’t directly buy.
-Social media presence/footprint Forbes reports that up to 90% of all high net worth individuals (HNWI) are quite active with social media, many of whom spend more than 48 hours a week on their accounts.
-Make more money Even when you’ve got money, you want more. With more money you can do more things and perhaps even help more people.
