🎙️ A Moment of Humble Pride
As the Founder and Chairman of The Green Advocates, I—Johnstone Imbote (a.k.a. Kijana Ya Sakaja)—was deeply humbled to deliver a speech on behalf of our organization.
Speaking before high-ranking leaders and mentors was a truly golden moment. I’ll admit, it came with mixed emotions and a touch of goosebumps, but as a leader, I had to summon the courage to represent our cause confidently and clearly.
I used the platform to call upon partners, donors, and stakeholders to support The Green Advocates in strengthening our efforts toward environmental conservation and fighting the impacts of climate change.
♻️ Our Thematic agenda of the day was: Beating Plastic Pollution
The day focused on solutions to plastic pollution, and we highlighted the importance of:
✅ Strengthening the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) mechanism
✅ Empowering communities through education and innovation
✅ Collaborative action across sectors to protect our planet
Let’s continue working together toward a greener, cleaner Africa.
Kasarani.
