HIDDEN TRUTH ON LIKONI TRAGEDY 😡ðŸ˜
Much, too much has been said about this issue. I will not get into the pedestrian matters around the issue. I will also not go into who is to blame. But I will share a few scientific facts about the possibility of retrieving the two bodies.
1. TEMPERATURES
At below 40 meters, most of the Ocean is at 0 to 3 degrees centigrade..( a freezer). The sunken car is anywhere between 90 to 120 meters....you saw how the divers usually dress....now send them into a freezer.
2. LIGHT
The bottom of the Sea is dark. Really dark. You need light, lots of light. The diver needs to carry light..among other things that I will list here. So lets call the torch item one.
3. OXYGEN
To do anything called diving, oxygen is needed. To be precise, oxygen mixed with helium. Please read about why oxygen has to be mixed with helium. One oxygen tank will do 30meters. So each diver needs four tanks on their back..haya ..now imagine him swimming with four tanks ..(Google how they look)
4..PRESSURE
At these depths, the ocean exerts a pressure of upto 1570 PSI. this is about 1000 times the atmospheric pressure. A human being cannot dive 90m straight. He will die. For those who have done MT. Kenya, you know that you need to climb in atleast four days. You climb, wait at a certain stage for the body to acclimatize, then climb again. Diving goes the same way. If you do 90m deep straight...you will die.
5. STORMS
The ocean is not a swimming pool. There are serious under water currents that are known to even detour large ships. The sand at the bottom of the sea at times moves like the sand in a desert. The sea is not a swimming pool. Now picture your driver in a sand storm, dark sea, carrying light and four oxygen tanks , risking his life at 2 degrees centigrade.( no wearing winter gear) to look for a dead body.
6. SHARKS
Carnivorous fish are in plenty in such places. Trust me, this area is no different. The diver, with his light, in a dark sea, with four oxygen tanks, in a sand storm, now needs a shark cage...otherwise, we will send another diver to go look for his body at frozen temperatures.
GRAVE YARD
The sea is 2/3 of the earth. Its therefore the place with the greatest amount of life. It only follows therefore that it is the biggest known grave yard. Billions of creatures have died here. Thousands of human beings as well, think of the Titanic and a few ferries. Not all bodies come afloat. Most are buried at sea. And Osama was buried at sea also.
The sea has planes, boats, lorries, ships and cars to name but a few at its bottom.
My apologies to the family. I want to be allowed to be the first to prepare them for the possibility of a requiem mass by the sea side.
My prayer like that of all Kenyans is they we retrieve the bodies and move them to a location on land for a decent burial in accordance with Christian and African rights.
But it's ok to prepare for any possibility. Sad as that may be, a requiem mass can be done by the sea shore or on a vessel.
Sorry to anyone to whom this post may be of hurt...but how untrue is it?
I wish the search team well. I wish the family well. I must say that the human mind, will and spirit can achieve alot even with the above circumstances in mind...but I must say...the odds are too many.
Now If your son, or your husband is a navy officer, would you want him sent on this mission? Mind you, its human life at risk to recover human body...
